CREWE and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson is joining forces with Breast Cancer Campaign to raise awareness of its fundraising event Wear It Pink on Friday October 30.
Last year more than one and a half million people took part in the event to help improve survival rates for the one in nine women who experience breast cancer during their lifetime.
Mr Timpson said: "Every year over 45,500 women and 300 men in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Like many others, I know people who have lost friends and family members to breast cancer.
"I would like to encourage Crewe and Nantwich residents to support Wear It Pink on October 30, and help raise valuable funds for breast cancer research.”
