A NANTWICH charity will be opening its doors on Thursday to raise much needed funds.
The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury is hosting a coffee morning on October 22 from 10am until 2pm and is offering people the opportunity to view its facilities until 4pm.
The centre will have a number of stalls in attendance giving people the perfect opportunity to buy Christmas gifts.
Home to the Wingate Special Children’s Trust, the Wingate Centre offers residential holiday accommodation to disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the UK, whilst also offering recreational gymnastics sessions to both able-bodied and disabled children across the local area.
Hannah Ward-Salt, fundraising officer, said: "When I mention the Wingate Centre, I often get met with a blank expression from people who never knew we existed.
"This is the perfect opportunity to welcome new people through our doors to show them exactly what we do, whilst also offer them refreshments on sale and an opportunity to stock up on some Christmas gifts along the way.”
