NORTHWICH driver Christian Dick is aiming to take his team to the top tier of British motorsport next season.
The Speedworks team owner, who lives in Great Budworth, has been pondering a switch following a test outing in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship this summer.
He finished second in class at Silverstone, where he shared his Ginetta G50 with experienced campaigner Richard Sykes.
“At this stage we are completely open to every option for next year,” he said.
“Our aim was to see if we could match the GT4 frontrunner Nigel Moore, and be competitive. I think the race exceeded all our expectations.”
Dick, who has run cars in several club-level series including the Ginetta G20 and Mazda MX-5 championships, is ready to step up to British GT – the UK’s premier sportscar racing series.
