STARS of the small screen swap scripts for strips in Northwich this weekend.
The cast of popular Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks head to Northwich Victoria’s Victoria Stadium on Sunday for a charity challenge match to raise money for Winsford-based St Luke’s Hospice.
Captain Nick Pickard, who plays Tony Hutchinson in the programme, will be joined on the pitch by more than a dozen of his cast mates.
They will take on an All Stars XI put together by match organiser Barry Doneghan made up of former professional footballers and invited guests.
Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson will be among them.
The actors from the Chester-based drama will be on hand after the game to sign autographs and pose for pictures.
Kick off is 2pm.
Admission is £3 for adults, £1 for children.
