Crowell chalked up more than 100 appearances for Wrexham before switching to Northwich part way through the transfer window in January 2008.

Became a key man in Dino Maamria’s 3-5-2 formation, occupying the position in front of the back three. It’s a role he played to perfection during Vics’ successful survival bid.

A midfield anchorman, the Welshman has been capped numerous times by Wales U21s, scoring against Azerbaijan in 2004.

Was also part of the Dragons’ team that won the LDV Vans Cup at Wembley in 2004.
