A BIKER was caught flouting a driving disqualification just five months after being banned from the roads at court.

Charlie Bell-Buckley, of Alt Walk in Winsford, first appeared in court on May 28, charged with driving while disqualified, using fraudulent registration plates and resisting arrest.

Magistrates again banned him from driving at this hearing, but on October 29, the 27-year-old was caught on the back of a bike.

Bell-Buckley was seen using a Honda CB750 in his home street. He was also found to have been riding it without insurance.

Hauled back to court charged with driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance, Bell-Buckley pleaded guilty to the offences on November 19.

On this occasion, magistrates handed him a 12-month community order, in which he must complete 100 hours of unpaid work, and banned him from driving for a further 18 months.

The court heard the defendant is in the middle of the Help programme with the Probation Service.

The bench deemed this matter to have crossed the community order threshold when passing sentence and handed Bell-Buckley another disqualification due to the 'aggravating features'.
