POLICE are investigating an attempted robbery in Winsford.
Two people have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was threatened while walking along Dover Drive.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses and urging anyone with video footage to come forward.
DC Kev Reade, of Northwich CID, said: “Enquiries in relation to incident are ongoing and as part of the investigation we’re urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam or video footage which may aid the investigation.”
At around 5.20pm on Tuesday, September 24, the 20-year-old victim was walking along Dover Drive, near to the junction of Wingfield Place.
A black car pulled up at the side of the road, with one of the occupants, a man, jumping out of the vehicle and threatening the victim.
However, he ended up fleeing the scene empty handed.
Two people, a 59-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, have since been arrested in relation to the incident.
The pair have both been released pending further enquiries.
