FAMILIES are being invited to get into the Christmas spirit early at an event in Middlewich.
Queen Street United Reformed Church will be holding its annual Christmas Fair in the Victoria Hall between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, November 16.
The usual well-stocked stalls will be present, including ones selling homemade cakes and pastries, fancy goods, toys, toiletries and jewellery, and Christmas decorations.
Alongside these stalls will be a tombola, pluck-the-chicken stall, a bottle stall, a DVD and book stall, and a Grand Raffle.
Young ones will also be able to meet Father Christmas, who is expected to arrive in his grotto at around 2.15pm.
A church spokesman said: "There is something for everyone and all are welcome."
Refreshments at reasonable prices will be served throughout the afternoon.
Admission is 30p and children under 12 get in for free.
