CAR owners have been urged to secure their vehicles following a theft.
Cheshire Police are investigating reports of tools being stolen from car on Booth Lane in Middlewich.
It happened sometime between 5pm on Sunday (November 10) and 7am the following morning.
Police are now appealing for information and have urged car owners to ensure their vehicles are properly secured.
A spokesperson said: “At 8.15am on Monday, November 11, police were called to reports of a theft from a car in Middlewich.
“The caller reported that sometime between 5pm on Sunday, November 10, and 7am on Monday, November 11, a number of tools were stolen.
“In an effort to ensure it is an isolated incident we would ask you to review your home and vehicle security and take sensible precautions like checking all premises, vehicles and alley gates are secure.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting 24000955318.”
