CARE concerns have been raised at a hospital following the death of a man from Winsford.
An inquest was formally opened into the death of Roger Booth on Wednesday at Cheshire Coroner’s Court.
Mr Booth sadly died at the Royal Stoke University Hospital on October 20, aged 76.
The court heard how he was transferred there in late September after undergoing several procedures at Leighton Hospital.
Senior coroner for Cheshire Jacqueline Devonish said that an inquest was required due to concerns for care being raised at Leighton Hospital.
An inquest date was set for April next year.
