YOU can watch your favourite festive films inside a planetarium this Christmas.
Jodrell Bank has announced it will be showing a selection of popular holiday movies next month.
However, it won’t be just any cinema experience, with the flicks being screened inside the centre’s Space Dome.
“Get cosy with a Christmas movie in this December!” said a Jodrell Bank spokesperson.
“For the first time, we are turning our planetarium into a cinema.
“Choose from 15 festive screenings - classics like Elf, Home Alone, Die Hard, and more.
“As an extra festive touch, the site will be beautifully illuminated from 4pm.”
There are 15 screenings taking place inside the Space Dome between December 7 and 31.
Afternoon screenings start promptly at 2.30pm, with evening screenings starting at 6pm.
Films on offer include It’s a Wonderful Life, The Holiday, Nightmare Before Christmas and Love Actually.
Meanwhile, in the run up to the big day, Jodrell Bank will host four Winter Wonderland evenings (December 17 to 20).
From 3.30pm to 8.30pm, families will be able to immerse themselves in festive lights and starlit walks.
There will be an exclusive Starlight Spectacular science show and the chance to watch The Snowman in the Space Dome.
