FREE desserts are on offer for people spreading festive cheer.
Hungry Horse are handing out free cheesecake as part of its annual Toy Boxing scheme.
The national pub chain operates a number of local venues, including the Brighton Belle in Winsford and the White Barn in Cuddington.
Anyone visiting these pubs next Thursday (November 14) can bag themselves a pudding on the house by donating a toy for someone in need and saying ‘Toy Boxing’ at the till.
Sarah Williams, senior marketing manager at Hungry Horse, said: "We're proud to bring back our annual toy donation scheme for a fourth consecutive year.
"This year, we want to thank all our amazing customers for their donations by offering a free slice of our delicious Raspberry Trifle Cheesecake to anyone who is able to gift a toy to someone in need in their local area.
"So, head on down to your local Hungry Horse on November 14, donate a toy, and enjoy a tasty dessert on us.”
This year is the fourth edition of Hungry Horse’s Toy Boxing charity initiative, designed to rehome toys by providing them to families in need.
They are hoping that the offer of free dessert can help them collect 5,000 toys in the first 24 hours.
Last year, the chain received nearly 17,000 donations in total.
They are aiming even higher in 2024, with hopes of exceeding the 20,000 mark.
