A WINNINGTON woman was placed third in the world among all-natural female bodybuilders.

Tracey Hogg has been competing in the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation’s masters figure section for just five years.

The NHS physiotherapist is the reigning British champion after being placed first in the national finals in September.

Her win qualified the 49-year-old for a place in the world finals in Munich on October 20, where she was third.

Asked how it felt to find herself on the podium aside the best all-natural female bodybuilders in the world, she said: “I was absolutely over the moon.

“I can’t believe it really. It’s going to take a while to sink in.

Tracy, who self-funds her competitions despite now being world class, is on the lookout for sponsorship from local businesses who can offer financial support or services.

She added: “It just cost so much to be properly competitive. It’s not just the competition entry fees, flights, taxis, hotels.

“It’s also things like tanning, make-up, hair, nails, bikinis, shoes, protein, supplements, gym fees. The list is endless.

“I can advertise for sponsors through social media, and wear branded kit for training.

“I also post workouts every single day on Insta and Tiktok, so I have a lot of reach.

“I promote as much as possible.”
