A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a truck and a car on the M6.
The collision happened at around 3.20am on Friday, October 18 on the M6 northbound between junction 18 for Middlewich and 19 for Northwich and Knutsford.
The incident involved a car transporter and a black Ford Fusion.
The driver of the car, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains at this time.
The driver of the car transporter was uninjured.
Sergeant Russell Sime said: “We are continuing our enquiries into this incident, and we would now urge anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam footage.

Three lanes of the motorway were closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
