A FORMER X Factor contestant is on the hunt for the next 'Voice of Cheshire'.
Winsford vocal coach Sophie Bond, who appeared on the hit ITV talent show back in 2011, is set to stage the second edition of her singing competition.
Fifteen young singers will be vying to become the next Voice of Cheshire at Middlewich's Victoria Hall in Civic Way, from 6.30pm on Saturday, November 2.
Sophie, who herself turned professional at the age of 14, has been in the music industry for around 17 years and now tutors young vocalists in singing and performance.
She said: "I’m so excited to see our young people perform the songs we have been working on for many weeks.
"For some this is their first time performing on stage so we would love a full house to make them feel welcome and cheer them all on.
"With so much talent and potential it should be an amazing night.
"The final few tickets are available by contacting me directly."
The singers have been whittled to the final 15 and split into two age categories - under 10s and 10s and over.
Four judges will be on hand to offer advice and the winner of each age group will take home a prize.
Tickets to watch cost just £10 which includes entrance and buffet. There is also a fully licenced bar at the venue.
