A SERVING Cheshire Police officer has denied stalking and assault.
Inspector Michelle Boyd appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday (October 10) where she denied two charges of stalking involving serious alarm or distress, and one of assault by beating.
The 50-year-old works for the force’s Western area, which includes Northwich, Winsford, Chester and Ellesmere Port.
She was arrested at Northwich Police Station on December 29 last year after allegations were made against her.
The Hartford resident appeared in the dock alongside her co-accused, Zoe Wallace, 46.
Oakmere resident Wallace pleaded not guilty to two counts of stalking involving serious alarm or distress.
A trial date has been set for the week beginning Monday, July 28, 2025.
The trial is expected to last between two and three weeks.
Boyd and Wallace have been granted conditional bail until a pre-trial review, set for May 9 next year.
As part of this, they must not publish any material - including comments, images and memes - on the internet or other public forums that refer to the case or identify the alleged victims and witnesses.
