LUCKY residents of one Northwich postcode are waking up £1,000 richer.

The Postcode Lottery has announced its list of winning postcodes for Thursday (October 10).

Among them is CW8 2PD - Ash Road in Sandiway.

Anyone signed up to the Postcode Lottery in that area will be celebrating after bagging a £1,000 prize per ticket.

Prizes are announced every day of the month – with £30,000 jackpots and £1,000 prizes for 20 different postcodes every day.

Players can sign up with their postcode and pay £12 per month with a chance to win when they are automatically entered into a draw.

A minimum of 33 per cent from each ticket goes to charity and players have raised more than £950 million for over 9,000 charities and good causes since 2005.
