A MIDDLEWICH firm has struck a deal with a popular gin brand.

Cheers Global has announced its second major partnership as in many weeks, this time agreeing a deal with GinTing.

Many will recognise the fruit-infused spirit from the menu of Wetherspoon's pubs.

This new partnership gives Cheers Global worldwide exclusivity on the exportation of all GinTing brand products.

Craig Johnstone, founder and managing director of the Wheelock Street-based drinks exporter, said: “We're thrilled to represent such a dynamic brand.

“GinTing's rising popularity and unique flavour profiles bring something fresh, fun, and vibrant to the market — qualities that will resonate globally.”

“Cheers Global has seen the international potential of our incredible products, and we are keen to see how far we can take our export journey.”

Mr Johnstone only launched Cheers Global earlier this year, having enjoyed a successful career in the drinks industry, working for brands like Majestic Wines, Britvic Soft Drinks, and Coca-Cola.

This latest deal comes just a week after Cheers Global confirmed an agreement with the brewery Adnams, best known for its Ghost Ship Pale Ale.

“We are delighted to represent such an iconic brewery, rich in heritage,” said Mr Johnstone.

“With their recent rebrand, the timing couldn’t be better to expand and accelerate Adnams’ international distribution.”
