A NORTHWICH man was fined for trashing doors at his local budget hotel.
Zack Hanley, of Romanes Street, damaged internal doors at the Premier Inn on London Road, Leftwich, on Wednesday, September 18, causing onlookers distress.
At a hearing at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 24, the 29-year-old pleaded guilty to one count each of criminal damage to property worth less than £5,000, and recklessly causing harassment, distress, or alarm.
Taking his guilty pleas into account, magistrates fined him a total of £499, and ordered him to pay £85 prosecution costs as well as a £200 victim surcharge.
The bench failed to award compensation to Premier Inn as sufficient details of the damage Hanley caused were not provided.
