CHESHIRE’S best pubs and pints have been revealed.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has released its Good Beer Guide 2025.
The 52nd edition of the best-selling guide features 4,500 venues across the country, including 71 in Cheshire – 17 of which are new entries.
CAMRA chairman Ash Corbett-Collins said: “CAMRA’s mission is to ensure support from the Government as well as tangible legislation to protect pubs in this country.
“By next year’s edition of the Guide, we want to be talking about the beer and pub trade growing with the support of communities and parliament alike.”
The Salty Dog on Witton Street is the only Northwich town centre bar to make it into this year’s guide, which went on sale on Thursday (September 26).
It is joined by the likes of The Lion in Moulton and Little Budworth’s Egerton Arms, as well as both Davenham and Barnton cricket clubs.
The King’s Lock and the White Bear in Middlewich are also included.
Several real ale breweries feature in the guide as well, including Hush in Northwich, Four Priests in Middlewich and new for 2025, Tay Brewery, also in Middlewich.
