POLICE in Rudheath raided a caravan and arrested its four inhabitants on suspicion of drug dealing.
Officer from Northwich local policing unit discovered cannabis and classified prescription medication in the caravan, which was parked on Edward Street.
Police say they had reason to believe was being use as a base for illegal drug dealing.
The officers executed a search warrant on the caravan at around 4pm on Friday, September 20, which they found occupied by four people.
Two men, aged 42 and 47, and two women, aged 49 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply class B drugs.
All have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
An e-Bike was also recovered from the caravan, and several mobile phones were seized.
Chief Inspector of Northwich local policing unit, Leeroy Moss, said: “These arrests are a great result for the residents of Northwich and send a clear message - illegal drugs will not be tolerated in our community.
“I want to reassure the public we're doing all we can to crackdown on criminals operating in Northwich. This warrant is a prime example of this.
“However, this is not an issue that we can tackle alone, and I would like to also appeal to the local community.
“If anyone has any information about illegal drug activity or any other criminal activity taking place in Northwich then they should report it to Cheshire Police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“We will do the rest.”
