A HOUSEBUILDER is taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning.
Redrow will be hosting events across all of its Cheshire developments to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Residents and local communities will be invited to share in refreshments and cake in return for a small donation to the charity.
“We will be holding events across all our developments in Cheshire, everyone is welcome, and entry is free,” said Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow North West.
“The team will be pulling together some terrific treats, all we ask is for in return is a donation back to this amazing charity.”
The Macmillan Coffee Morning takes place on Friday, September 27.
Redrow will host events at seven developments from 10am to 2pm, including Redrow Hartford near Northwich and Tabley Park in Knutsford.
All of the money raised will go towards helping Macmillan offer support for people living with cancer
The first Macmillan Coffee Morning took place in 1990 and was a small affair with a simple idea, that guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process.
It was so effective, Macmillan did it again the following year but this time they did it on a national scale.
In 2023, the coffee morning raised £18,041,302.
