YOUTHS have been caught stealing from a cinema and vandalising property.
Police were called to multiple reports of anti-social behaviour around Northwich town centre last Monday (September 16).
This included reports of three youngsters throwing stones at buildings, stealing from a cinema, and ripping out bedded plants and throwing them at shop windows.
Officers attended and found three boys, age 14, 13 and 12, who were searched before being escorted home to their parents.
One of the boys was issued a community resolution for his behaviour and was required to write a letter of apology.
The youth offending team, anti-social behaviour unit and the children’s schools have all been notified and will now be working with the youth to stop them engaging in such behaviour again.
