POLICE investigating a 'concerning' spate of burglaries in Hartford have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

Four homes in the Hartford area have been burgled over recent weeks, and all took place place in the early hours of the morning.

Detectives say so far, the criminals have been focusing their attentions on Priory Way, Chester Road, and Hodge Lane.   

Police enquiries are ongoing, and as part of their investigation, officers have now released CCTV images of a man they are looking to identify.

Police Constable Dean Butterworth, of Northwich Proactive CID said: “I understand the concerns these incidents are likely to cause, and I want to reassure residents we are committed to doing all we can to identify the person responsible.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries, we’re keen to identify the man in the CCTV footage as I believe he may be able to assist our investigation.

“The man is wearing distinctive gloves and a backpack, and I would urge him, or anyone who thinks they may know who he is, to contact the team here at Northwich.”
