BRIDGES over the River Weaver will be swung once again.
Northwich’s two town centre swing bridges will be in action again this week.
The Canal and River Trust North West has confirmed that both bridges are to be swung on Thursday (September 5) morning.
Hayhurst Swing Bridge will be operated first, at 9.30am, followed by Town Swing Bridge at 10am.
While this usually takes five minutes, the CRT has said that on this occasion each swing could take between 20 and 30 minutes.
This will likely cause delays for motorists and pedestrians trying to cross the Weaver.
