Every week, the Northwich & Winsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Edna Eunice Rothwell

The 97-year-old died peacefully at home in Middlewich on Tuesday, August 13.

Edna was the dearly loved wife of the late John and a much-loved mother and grandmother.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, September 3, at The Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels, Middlewich, at noon prior to committal at Vale Royal Crematorium, Northwich.

Joseph 'Joe' Davies

The 89-year-old, from Wingfield Place, Winsford, died in Leighton Hospital on August 19.

Joe was the devoted husband of the late Joyce, loving dad, grandad, great-grandad, uncle and friend to many.

Funeral service to be held at St Josephs RC Church on Friday, September 20, at 11am. Family flowers only.

Doreen Stockall (née Bailey)

Doreen, formerly of Middlewich, died peacefully at The Elms Nursing Home on Friday, August 9.

She was the dearly loved wife of the late Alan Stockall and a much-loved mum and nana.

Funeral service took place on Friday, August 30, at The Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels, Middlewich, prior to interment in Middlewich Cemetery.

Gloria Cassar

The 87-year-old died on August 22 in Winsford Grange.

Gloria was the much-loved mum to Alan, Diane, Donna, Stephen, Lynda, Peter and Malcom, as well as a special nan and great-nan.

Funeral service to be held at The Birches Crematorium on Tuesday, September 10.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John, beloved husband of Sheila, which occurred on August 19.
