FAMILIES are being invited to brave a new Halloween trail being launched at the Trafford Centre this October.
Following the success of ‘The Twilight Trail’ last year Manchester’s acclaimed Trafford Trails will unveil a spooktacular themed light show called The Halloween Trail.
The immersive experience promises to captivate visitors of all ages this spooky season, running from Thursday, October 17 until Sunday, November 3.
Featuring more than 100,000 lights, the mesmerising trail is filled with captivating installations that centre around a Skeleton Village theme.
Dan Morris, co-founder of Trafford Trails said: “We are thrilled to launch Trafford Trails this Halloween.
“Our team is excited to work with our partners at the Trafford Centre to completely transform the incredible hidden space into a mesmerising Halloween experience.”
Guests will be greeted by supernatural surprises and moments of spooky delight as they arrive at the experience.
Thousands of tiny laser beams will be used to create a mist-filled garden of light, meanwhile colourful bats will illuminate the space with LED eyes - eerily watching from above.
The event will also feature a skeleton petting zoo and skeleton disco as well as installations and activities such as pumpkin carving and marshmallow roasting.
Guests will encounter a skeleton funfair complete with classic fairground games and rides such as The Twist - a hypnotic corkscrew of psychedelic lights.
Adult visitors can also take a trip to Ye Olde Skeleton Arms, a creepy old-fashioned pub packed with eerie charm.
A selection of special food and drink options from top traders at Manchester’s street food venue, Freight Island, will be available throughout the trail.
Simon Layton, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: “It’s exciting to be collaborating with the team at Freight Island on this spooktacular experience, which promises our visitors a complete spectacle for the senses.
“This is something completely new for the Trafford Centre, and we can’t wait for this immersive experience to come to life once the sun sets!”
Mr Morris added: “We are proud to offer such a wonderful and immersive event at an affordable price, making it accessible for families, groups of friends, and even date nights.
“We can’t wait to share this enchanting journey with our visitors”
Tickets are available now, with off-peak prices starting at £8 per child, £10 per adult and family tickets from £32.
