THE fantastic GCSE results achieved by County High School, Leftwich pupils 'reflects their commitment to excellence'.
Students, joined by their families, collected their grades yesterday morning as two years of hard work came to an end.
Staff at the Granville Road school also attended and shared in the celebrations as their pupils delightedly opened their results envelopes.
Head teacher Richard Warburton praised the school's dedicated teachers and thanked staff, parents and governors for supporting the students on their journey.
He said: "It has been lovely to celebrate with students and families today. We are really proud of our students and of the results they have gained today.
"Thank you to all staff, parents/carers and governors who supported students throughout their time here.
"We wish everyone success in their future and look forwarding to hearing how you are getting on."
Jo Flower, chairwoman of governors, added: “I am very pleased to see so many students achieving these great results.
"The school’s GCSE success enhances the life chances of all students and our community.
"We wish the 2024 cohort all the best as they move onto the next exciting phase of their lives.
"I’d like to thank the senior leadership team, teachers and the wider team for their care, commitment and pride in preparing these students for future success."
Matthew Snelson, CEO of the Sir John Brunner Foundation - of which the school is a part - said: "It is wonderful to see The County High School, Leftwich students continuing to achieve such huge success.
