A DRUG driver has been banned from the roads.
Richard Norris, of Brakeley Lane in Little Leigh, has been disqualified from driving for 12 months.
It comes after the 49-year-old admitted to drug driving.
Norris was caught driving a Vauxhall along the A49 Tarporley Road in Northwich on May 5.
At this time, the proportion of benzoylecgonine, the main metabolite of cocaine, in his blood was more than four times the legal limit of 50 micrograms.
Norris appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday (August 14) where he pleaeed guilty.
District Judge John McGarva disqualified Norris from driving for 12 months and ordered him to pay a £120 fine.
He will also have to pay £85 in costs and a £48 surcharge, which will be taken from his benefits.
