QUEUES are building ahead of rush hour on the M56 after collision with expected delays of more than an hour.
The crash took place between on the M56 Eastbound between junction 14, for Chester Services, and junction 12, for Runcorn.
One lane has been closed and normal traffic is expected to clear at 5pm, with delays of an hour and a half predicted against expected traffic.
Delays are also expected westbound as traffic is slow passing the scene.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "At 3.32pm today police were called to a collision involving three to four vehicles on the M56 between junction 14 and 12.
"The aren’t thought to have been any injuries. The cars are being removed from the carriageway."
