BRUNNER Guildhall will be throwing open its doors to the public.
Winsford Town Council has confirmed plans for a Heritage Open Day at the iconic building.
Guests will be able to marvel at artefacts from Compass Minerals as well as take part in an ‘Antiques Roadshow’ type event.
The mayor of Winsford, Cllr Wayne Fletcher, said: "I can't wait to open the doors on the Guildhall and show off the heritage of the town.
“Once again, we are trying something new for the town and I really hope that residents will get involved and bring down their antiques to be valued."
From 10am to 5pm on Saturday (September 7), Brunner Guildhall will be open to the public.
One of the rooms will be dedicated to the history of the salt mines, with information and artefacts provided by Compass Minerals.
Antique dealers and experts will also be in attendance from midday to 4pm, casting their eyes over Winsford antiques.
Anyone is welcome to bring along their own treasures to be appraised by the experts, who will also be bringing along items of historical interest with connections to the town.
There will also be snacks and drinks on offer, as well as information about how Winsford has developed over the years.
