A BAR has shut for a refurbishment.
The Chime in Hartford will be closed for the next few weeks as work takes place to revitalise the restaurant.
Very few details of the work taking place have been shared thus far.
However, ‘exciting changes’ are promised.
A post on the venue’s Instagram read: “We will be closed for the next two to three weeks as we refurbish the restaurant.
“Please keep your eye on our page for updates.
“We look forward to sharing some exciting changes with you in the coming weeks.”
The Chime previously closed for two and a half months at the beginning of 2023 for upgrade work to the kitchen.
It reopened on March 15 as the new taproom and restaurant of Hush Brewing Co.
This saw the downstairs of the venue turned into a bar area, with the upstairs retained as a restaurant.
It is unclear what changes will be taking place during the current closure but the bar has been contacted for further information.
