A COIN listed for sale in Winsford for an eye-watering sum has been described as ‘very rare’.

The 50p coin is currently for sale on eBay from an owner in Winsford for a cool £15,000 or nearest offer.

It features the words ‘diversity built Britain’ on the front, with Queen Elizabeth II on the back.

On top of the large sum of money needed to buy it, you would also need to pay 85p for postage.

The seller says the coin is in ‘very good condition’.

It was originally commissioned by the then-Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, to be more inclusive of the people, communities and events which helped to build a diverse Britain.

Prime Minister at the time, Boris Johnson, stated that the coin 'echoes the Government's commitment to building a fairer society for all'.
