A HIGH Street retailer is celebrating its recent store re-fit by hosting a fundraising day for charity.
The Currys branch in the Northwich Retail Park off Manchester Road is holding the special event on Friday, August 9.
Guide Dogs UK have been chosen as the charity to benefit from the fundraising day and will be in store collecting donations.
A raffle will also take place, with exciting tech prizes available to win and all proceeds going to support the charity.
A Currys Northwich spokesman said: We have just had an entire store re-fit with new and exciting products and new displays with extended ranges available for customers.
"We decided a great way to celebrate this would be hosting a charity event in store in which we will have Guide Dogs UK in to raise money to support their cause.
"It is a cause which all store colleagues would love to support, especially with us being a dog-friendly store for non-assistance dogs too.
"We also have a charity raffle with loads of great prizes and tech available for customers to win.
"We're really hoping to get the store busy on Friday so we can raise as much money as possible for the Guide Dogs."
