FINAL preparations are underway as ‘the North West’s favourite festival’ nears its return.
There is just one week to go until Deva Fest at Cholmondeley Castle.
Phil Marston, founder of the event, can barely contain his excitement.
He said: "We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Deva Fest. Our goal has always been to create a unique and memorable experience for festival-goers and this year promises to be our best yet.
“2024 has been a difficult year for the events industry, with so many festivals having to cancel so to see our event once again come to life, bigger than ever before, is a real testament to our team and amazing guests."
Deva Fest began life in 2018 and today claims to be the North West’s favourite festival.
Starting on Thursday (August 8), the festival boasts three days of live music, comedy, activities and the region’s best food traders.
The Human League, Ocean Colour Scene and The Coral will take to the Main Stage, while the Sensus Stage will see headline sets from Rui Da Silva, K-Klass and Ultrabeat.
Fresh off their Glastonbury performances, the Old Time Sailors will call the Sailor’s Rest Tent home as unsigned acts from across the country perform on the Heart and Soul Stage.
There is also the Deva Loughs Comedy Tent hosted by Danny McLoughlin, open from 6pm to 9pm each day, and a range of free activities, including axe throwing and fairground rides.
Those travelling to the festival via Merseyrail services will also be able to make use of free shuttle buses from Chester Railway Station.
Final tickets for the festival are available on the Deva Fest website now, with Saturday tickets expected to sell out any moment.
