BEFORE breaking up for their summer holiday, children at Cledford Primary School made one final trip... to Neverland.

On the final day of term, the Middlewich school's performing arts club delighted assembled parents and pupils with their performance of Peter Pan.

Led by dedicated staff, teacher Emma Phillipson and teaching assistant Helen Ferris, the children, aged eight to 11, brought JM Barrie's classic tale to life.

Mrs Phillipson said: "This performance was a testament to the hard work and enthusiasm of our pupils and staff.

"It's been a wonderful experience for everyone involved, and we're incredibly proud of what the children have achieved."

Principal Chris Adlington added: "The production, which included a delightful mix of music, laughter and tears, showcased the exceptional abilities of our young stars and provided a memorable conclusion to the school year.

"The school's assembly hall was filled with joy and emotion as the children expertly navigated the whimsical adventures of Peter Pan, Wendy, and the Lost Boys, much to the delight of the audience.

"The Peter Pan production not only highlighted the impressive talent at Cledford Primary School but also fostered a sense of community and celebration, making it a perfect finale for the academic year."
