A BUS company is investigating a crash.
Warrington’s Own Buses have launched an investigation following a crash in Comberbach between a car and one of their fleet.
Four people were attended to by paramedics as Cheshire Police closed Warrington Road to traffic.
A spokesperson for the council-owned bus company said: “We’re aware of an incident involving one of our buses in Comberbach and are currently investigating the incident.”
Emergency services were called to the scene, near the Spinner and Bergamot pub, at around 11am on Wednesday (July 10).
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service crew, from the Northwich station, helped free the driver of the car from their vehicle.
Speaking shortly after midday, a CFRS spokesperson said: “One casualty has been released from a vehicle by firefighters and is now in the care of paramedics.
“Three additional casualties have been given precautionary checks.
“Fire crews are liaising with police to stabilise the vehicles.”
It is understood none of the passengers on the bus sustained injuries.
However, the road was blocked as a result of the crash, with police called to help manage traffic.
