POLICE have shut a road following a crash.
Warrington Road in Comberbach is currently closed after a crash involving a bus and a car.
Cheshire Police were called to the scene, near the Spinner and Bergamot pub, at around 11am.
Officers confirmed that all passengers on the bus are fine.
However, the driver of the car had to be freed from their vehicle by firefighters and is now being treated by paramedics.
The road has been blocked as a result of the crash.
One Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service engine, from the Northwich station, is also in attendance.
A spokesperson said: “Emergency services are in attendance at a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
“Police have closed the road to allow fire crews to free one casualty trapped in one of the vehicles.
“Paramedics are also on scene.”
North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for further information.
