DRIVERS are being warned of a lengthy road closure in Winsford.
Weaver Street will close on Monday, July 8, for an estimated three weeks to allow a gas main to be replaced.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents, businesses, deliveries, and emergency service vehicles.
Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) propose drivers take an alternative route via Weaver Street, Dingle Lane, Dingle Lane roundabout, New High Street, and Wharton Road roundabout.
A CWAC Highways spokesman said: “A through route will not always be available, and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.”
