FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze near Delamere.
Two Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service engines were called out to reports of a house fire on Willington Road.
The crews, one each from the Winsford and Malpas stations, arrived shortly before 6.30pm on Thursday (June 27).
“A house fire in Delamere, involving the ground floor, saw two fire engines attend,” a spokesperson for CFRS said.
“Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish it.
“Everyone was safely out of the property on the arrival of firefighters.
“A thermal imaging camera was used to check the property, and to ensure it was fully extinguished, crews needed to remove slates from the roof.
“They were on scene for approximately two hours.”
