A CAT was abandoned by its owners when they moved house.
Willowsway Cat Rescue is stepping up efforts to find Woody a forever family.
The five-year-old black-and-white cat came into the charity’s care back in January after he was left behind by his previous owners.
“Woody is a quirky chap who adores attention and loves to sit and have a chat!” said Martine Gum.
“He is a beautiful boy, who came into rescue having been left behind by his owners when they moved house.
“He has won the heart of his foster but desperately needs a family and a home to call his own.”

Woody arrived at Northwich-based Willowsway on January 20, 2024.
Fortunately, neighbours had been caring for him after his previous owners left, so he was in relatively good condition.
Although he did have fleas and worms.
Routine blood tests then discovered he is FIV positive and as such would need to be an only cat and live the remainder of his life indoors.
Willowsway’s appeal to find Woody a new home comes as they are ‘inundated’ with requests for help from members of the public.
The charity currently has more than 90 felines in its care with a long waiting list of cats needing to come in.
Martine said: “The number of cats being surrendered is overwhelming.
“We are struggling to cope with the number of cats and kittens needing help.
“This is not unique to this area, it is a nationwide problem.”
