ANNE Hegerty is coming to Winsford.
The star of ITV’s The Chase is hosting a charity quiz night at Winsford Academy next month.
The event will raise money for St Luke’s Hospice.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Get ready for an evening of brain-teasing fun and excitement!
“We're thrilled to invite you to a very special quiz night featuring the incredible Anne Hegerty, the legendary quizmaster from The Chase.
“Gather your smartest friends, form a team of up to four members and test your knowledge and compete to win fantastic prizes.
“Whether you're a trivia buff or just looking for a fun night out, don’t delay, secure your tickets today!”
Anne, a former Newsquest reporter, is no stranger to Mid Cheshire.
In December 2014, she played the Wicked Stepmother in The Grange Theatre's Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, in Northwich.
She returns to the area for the quiz night at Winsford Academy on Saturday (July 20), which starts at 7pm.
An over 18s event, guests on the night will be able to enjoy bar refreshments, ice cream and a raffle.
There will also be a question and answer session with Anne, also known as The Governess.
St Luke’s say that pre-booking is 'essential'.
