THREE teenagers have been charged with dealing class A drugs.

Officers from Northwich Proactive Policing Team have charged three 17-year-olds with dealing crack cocaine and heroin in the town.

It comes after CCTV operators reported suspicious activity in the Crown Street area shortly before 6pm on Saturday (June 22).

Officers arrived at the scene and found the three boys, all from Manchester, in a nearby alleyway.

The trio were searched and subsequently arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.

Following questioning, the teenagers were all charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

The group appeared at appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday (June 24) where there were released on conditional bail.

They are set to return to Chester Magistrates on September 6.
