A CASUALTY was cut from a car by firefighters after a crash in Winsford.

Fire crews from Winsford and Middlewich rushed to St John’s Drive, Over, after reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars at 12.42am on Saturday, June 22.

The trapped casualty, along with another, were both taken to hospital by ambulance.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on St John’s Drive involving two cars at 12.42am on Saturday, June 22.

“One casualty was released from a vehicle and was taken to hospital by ambulance, along with a second casualty.”
