POLICE have stepped up patrols following damage to a park.
Hartford and Greenbank Police have taken action amid reports of a group of individuals damaging trees near the park on Woods Road, Hartford.
The group has also damaged some of the play equipment at the park.
As such, steps are being taken to try and identify those responsible.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Over recent weeks officers have been made aware of a group of individuals who have been damaging the trees near the park on Woods Road, Hartford.
"Some of the play equipment on the park has also been damaged.
"Patrols have been stepped up in the area and officers are engaging with local residents to identify those responsible."
