A NORTHWICH primary school has been forced to close its doors to pupils after heavy rain caused 'significant' flooding.
Hartford Manor Primary School issued a message this morning after parts of the building flooded overnight.
Yesterday (May 22) the Met Office upgraded its yellow weather warning for rain to amber across parts of Cheshire.
A spokesman for the Stones Manor Lane school said: "Unfortunately the schools has suffered significant flooding overnight and is unable to open today.
"Apologies for any inconvenience, we will keep you updated throughout the day."
