UPDATE: Lucy has been found safe and well. Police have thanked everyone for their help in sharing the appeal.
POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing teenager.
The 16-year-old, called Lucy, is originally from Northwich, but now lives in Leicestershire.
She was last seen at around 5am on Wednesday, May 15, when she left her home in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
It is believed that she has since travelled to Cheshire.
Lucy is described as white, 5’ 2” tall and of a slim build. She has shoulder-length dark purple/red hair.
The teenager has a number of connections across Cheshire, including in Blacon and Northwich.
It is believed that she may also have travelled to Wilmslow in recent days.
Detective Chief Inspector Justin Hancock, from Cheshire Police, said: “Lucy has now been missing for a number of days and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Enquires to locate her are ongoing, and we believe that she has been traveling across Cheshire using the railway network.
“As part of our investigation, we’re keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen her. The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage which may help our investigation.
“We would also like to appeal directly to Lucy and ask her to make contact with us.
“Your family are very worried about you.”
Anyone with any information in relation to the whereabouts of Lucy is asked to contact Cheshire Police at cheshire.poluce.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML1824918.
Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
