A POPULAR pub is helping pet owners to socialise by hosting monthly dog walking meet-ups.
The Hayhurst Arms in Bostock Green holds a free meet-up for dog walkers, offering a 'warm and welcoming' atmosphere for owners and pets.
And not only can you socialise with other dog lovers, the London Road pub also offers a bacon sandwich to fuel your walk.
The next walk is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, at 9am and for this event, the pub has partnered with Eden Holistic Pet Foods.
Attendees on the day will receive a free lead and collar from Eden, which will also be providing free samples of its pet food.
As part of the collaboration between The HayHurst Arms and Eden, funds will be raised on the day for the Cheshire Dogs Home, which cares and shelters for abandoned and stray dogs.
Any donations made on the day or through the Eden website will go towards supporting the charity's 'incredible' work.
An Eden spokeswoman said: "If you're interested in attending the event or would like more information, be sure to visit The Hayhurst Arms website or Eden Pet Foods' Instagram page.
"There, you'll find all the details you need to join in on the fun and make a difference in the lives of dogs in need.
"So, grab your leash, gather your friends, and head to The Hayhurst Arms for a fantastic day of dog walking, socialising, and supporting a worthy cause."
