A MAN carrying a 'firearm' was spotted in Northwich.
Cheshire Police have been made aware of a video circulating on social media.
The video shows a man holding what appears to be a rifle as he climbs an embankment towards the lime beds owned by Tata Chemicals Europe.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 12.12pm on Saturday, May 4, police were made aware of an incident in Rudheath.
“The caller reported that at 9.15am that day they received a video showing a man climbing the lime beds embankment on private land off Penny’s Lane.
“The man was possibly armed with a firearm.
“It is unknown when the incident occurred.”
Police confirmed that so far, no arrests have been made.
