A BIKER has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene on the A556 in Rudheath, at the Morrisons roundabout, shortly after 3.30pm on Tuesday.
On arrival, it was discovered a motorbike had been involved in a collision with a car.
The rider of the motorbike, a man, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital after having suffered serious injuries to his leg.
Traffic built up in the area as the incident was dealt, before the scene was cleared by 5pm.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "At 3.33pm on Tuesday, May 7, police were called to a collision on the A556 in Northwich, at the Morrisons roundabout.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a car and a motorbike.
"The rider of the motorbike sustained serious injuries to his leg and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"The driver of the car was uninjured."
